Research

We researched the forms of tourism that already existed in that region to stem 
ideas for possible tourism ideas that we could establish. We researched the low 
environmental impact of the jeeps and hot air balloons on the Serengeti, and
the  positive impact that the money would bring to the region. Tanzania is a
leader  in ecotourism because it has allocated over a quarter of its land for
wildlife  conversation. Tour guides would know how to minimize their impact and
create  environmental awareness and respect on the safari--after all it is also
their  home. This area is also important to learn about cultural awareness and
respect  because of the many unique animals, environment, and different cultures found within the Serengeti
plains.
